This summer we will be holding our 70th Annual Bazaar. It is a perfect time to JOIN US and help support our local community.
If you are a full time or part time resident of Cape May Point or someone who cares about our special community and wants to get involved, we would love to have you join the Cape May Point Civic Club.
In May 1954, ten women friends gathered to form a Cape May Point service organization. Its goal would be to add to the beauty of the community and to promote civic pride. Their first project was to landscape and plant shrubs and flowers at the Cape Avenue entrance to the Point. They funded the effort by holding a Food Sale at the Cape May Point Firehouse on July 3, 1954. That first food sale ultimately grew into the Club’s very popular Annual Bazaar. The proceeds from the Bazaar are donated to Cape May Point's Volunteer Fire Company, community beautification, environmental efforts, various local charities, and an educational fund.
